Qualified Exercise & Sport Scientist. Four years of clinical experience. Ten-plus years of coaching. Final-year Masters of Physiotherapy student. Bella Temple is one of the most qualified people you'll find working in rehabilitation and performance in Geelong.

Bella specialises in complex rehabilitation, including post-surgical and neurological rehab, helping clients get back to function, movement, and the life they love.

June is Men's Mental Health Month. ๐Ÿงก

The "man up" mentality has been around far too long. At 10 South, we want to be a place where men feel safe, to train, yes, but also to just show up as they are.

We know that for a lot of guys, the gym is more than a workout. It's the hour in the day that clears the head. Where you feel like yourself again. Where you're surrounded by people who get it.

Movement is medicine. Community is medicine.

If you've been doing it tough lately, we see you. You don't have to have it all together to walk through our door.

A huge thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding while we worked through the unexpected technical issue.

๐Ÿšจ 24/7 ACCESS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE ๐Ÿšจ

Due to an ongoing technical issue with our 24/7 access door, we will need to keep the facility locked from 7:30pm tonight (15/06) until 5:30am tomorrow morning (16/06).

Unfortunately, this means the gym will not be accessible outside of staffed hours tonight, including after our doors close at 7:30pm.

The good news is that the gym will reopen at 5:30am tomorrow morning, and Spin with Broni at 6:15am will be running as scheduled. ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

We will also have technicians onsite tomorrow continuing to work on the access system to ensure the issue is fully resolved and normal 24/7 access can be restored as quickly as possible.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and understand this may disrupt your training plans. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support while we work through this issue.

We will continue to keep members updated as more information becomes available.

The gym will reopen at 5:30am tomorrow (16/06).

Recovery is where the real gains happen, and most people are getting it wrong.

Here's what our sports medicine team want you to know:

๐Ÿ’ค SLEEP: Aim for 7โ€“9 hours. Growth hormone is released during deep sleep. This is when your muscles actually repair.

๐Ÿฅ— NUTRITION: Eat protein within 30โ€“60 minutes of finishing your session. Eggs, Greek yoghurt, a shake. Don't skip carbs, your body needs them to refuel.

๐Ÿ’ง HYDRATION: 2โ€“3 litres a day minimum. Even mild dehydration slows your recovery more than most people realise.

๐Ÿง˜ STRETCH: 10 minutes of static stretching post-session reduces soreness and lowers injury risk. Focus on what you just worked.
