(trying to) Fix Lower Back Pain
Many nagging lower backs don’t come from one thing, they build up overtime. The cause can be numerous things but chances are it just needs to move!
Here’s how we get that lower back moving 👇
Cat–Cow
Your spine needs to and likes to extend and flex, if doesn’t get to its more often than not going to be unhappy about it.
Dead Bugs
Trains your core to stabilise while your limbs move — exactly what protects your spine under load & great for pelvic control.
Jefferson Curls
Yes, your spine should be strong through flection, your spine is allowed to round. Light weight, move with purpose & listen to your body. If it hurts, stop.
90/90 Wall Sits
Your lower back has to work overtime if your hips don’t show up. This is going to help with pelvic positioning & abdominal engagement.
Strong backs aren’t built by avoiding movement. They’re built by training through it.
A note — These are just a few exercises as a starting point, everyone’s different. If you’ve had an acute injury, surgery or dic issues you’re going to need something specific not just some recommendations for me!
