WA Showcase managed to raise $4700 to go towards Cystic Fibrosis. Incredibly proud to be apart of this event!

What a fabulous job from the Linedance community and friends and business colleagues this year. Once we got past the event costs we had some money left to donate to our chosen charity this year Cystic Fibrosis WA.

From our sponsorship program and some funds left from the door sales we managed to donate $4700.00 to assist adults and children with this debilitating illness.

We didn’t quite reach our target but as the event was restructured this year there were some extra costs involved but let’s aim higher in 2027.

Linedance family I know we can do this but for now thank you all for your generosity and for supporting the WA Showcase 2026.

INCREDIBLY LONG POST ALERT!

Yesterday was the WA Showcase Competition, and WOW... what an incredible day!

This was the first year we opened the competition to Under 30s as well as Over 30s, and it was fantastic seeing competitors of all ages and so many line dance clubs getting involved.

For me, yesterday was a little different. Alongside my usual Head Judging duties, I also got to join my MM Line Dancing Competition Team on the competition floor for the first time at Showcase!

I am incredibly proud of every single one. They put in the work, learnt routines, practised, supported each other and gave it everything they had.

Our line dance family just got a little smaller today. My thoughts go out to Jessie, Neveah, Noah, and the family during this incredibly difficult time. RIP Ryan. Gone but never forgotton. 39 forever!

After a little break from our usual Wednesday night classes while we focused on competition training, we’re heading back to our usual schedule!

From Wednesday 9th September, we’re back at North Dandalup Memorial Hall with our Beginner’s Hour from 6:30pm, followed by Intermediate/Advanced from 7:30pm.

It’ll be great to get back to our regular Wednesday nights, learning new dances, revisiting some favourites and having plenty of fun on the dance floor!

Competition Team Dress Rehearsal Night

Come along and support the MM Line Dancing Competition Team as they perform their competition routines before heading off to compete on Saturday at the SOLD OUT WA Showcase in Midland.

This is a great opportunity to see the hard work, dedication, and preparation that goes into competition dancing, while cheering on our team in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

Whether you're a current dancer, family member, or simply interested in seeing what competition line dancing is all about, we'd love to have you there!

August… you were a bit of a mixed bag!

We had a little unexpected time off while I battled a nasty head cold, but thankfully we were soon back on the dance floor and making up for lost time!

Here’s what we managed to cover this month .

Between dancing, our Under the Sea social, competition training and a little time out to recover, August has definitely kept us busy!

Thank you to everyone for your understanding while I took a few days to get myself back on track 💜
