Cowra Golf Club is described by many as ‘the Best Course West of the Blue Mountains’. 18 Holes of fully irrigated kikuyu fairways and very well maintained bent greens form part of this challenging layout. The 5954m Par 71 has four of the most challenging finishing holes on any course that makes playing Cowra Golf Course memorable.

A big shout-out to Josh and the team at Dunk group pty ltd for their sponsorship of this year's Handiskins competition. In addition to subsidising everyone's registration fee, Josh has upped the ante this year by offering a $100 prize to the winner of each individual event, on top of the standard competition prizes. Cowra Golf Club would like to thank David Fagan. David Thomas, Peter Taylor, Mark Rush and Peter Kirwan for laying the logs on the path at the 13th tee on Wednesday.
Next Wednesday we will spreading more gravel on some paths to tidy the course before the Open Tournament next weekend.
If you can spare a couple of hours it would be great to see you there to help out.

This coming Saturday is the August monthly medal event. We appreciate Leach Metal Fabrication coming on board to sponsor the day. Leach Metal Fabrication and Constructions is a local, family-run business based in Cowra, NSW, offering custom steel work, farm sheds, horse arenas, and general fabrication services.

There will be a bbq on the day with bacon and egg rolls and sausage sandwiches to warm you up.

Members are advised that the grace period for membership renewals ends this Friday 31 July. Memberships not renewed by this date will be cut off and be unable to play comp over the weekend. Those not renewed are therefore asked to do so before Saturday.
