✨ Soloists take the stage in Orange ✨

It has been a busy month for our soloists as we come into the final couple of Eisteddfods for the season! 💙

Throughout August, our soloists took to the stage at one of the biggest Eisteddfods in our region - and one of their favourite stages to perform on! 💫

It was so special watching our dancers step into the spotlight, perform routines they have worked so hard on and enjoy every moment on the Orange stage. 🥹💙

And just like that… Ballet Exams 2026 are done. 🩰💙💫

Today was all about our students- watching them walk into their exams with beautiful smiles, a few nerves and so much pride in everything they have worked towards.

But tonight, I want to take a moment to thank the incredible team.

Clare and Nadia’s days as “ballet exam mums” finished years ago, yet every year they still come back. They give up their time to pin numbers, do hair, straighten ribbons, calm nerves and make sure every single student walks into that exam room looking amazing and feeling spectacular. The fact that they continue to show up for our dancers, long after their own children needed them to, means more to me than they realise.

Miss Liss– always by my side through the crazy, busy, exciting days. There are so many things that happen behind the scenes that nobody sees, and I simply couldn’t do it without you.

Donna– for making sure everyone was fed, watered and cared for all day. One less thing for me to think about, and something I’m incredibly grateful for.

Makenna– for taking on the important job of playing the music for our dancers in their exams today and being another calm, familiar CDF face in the room.

And to all of our wonderful parents– thank you for helping today run so smoothly.

It takes a village to raise a dancer, and I’m very grateful for ours. 💙💫

💙 HAPPY FATHER’S DAY 💙

To our dance dads, stepdads, grandads and father figures - today is for you! 🥰

The ones who are there for the taxi runs 🚗
The ones who have mastered the art of waiting around ⏰
The motivational speakers when the going gets tough 📣
The biggest cheerleaders in the audience 👏
And, of course… the Bank of Dad - proudly funding the dance fees 😂💳

But beyond all of that, thank you for simply being there.

For encouraging them to give things a go.
For celebrating the little wins.
For picking them up when things don’t go to plan.
For believing in them, sometimes before they believe in themselves.

Your support helps our dancers grow in confidence, find their joy and believe in what they can achieve. ✨

They wrapped up an amazing Eisteddfod season with a Highly Commended in their Ballet at Bathurst. ✨
