🐴 Cowra Trail Riders End-of-Month Ride

11 riders headed out for a beautiful 11.5 km ride along the Monteagle Stock Route for our end-of-month ride.

We were blessed with perfect weather and spectacular views of the water and bright yellow canola fields. After the ride, everyone returned to their floats to feed and water the horses before sitting down together for lunch and a good chat.

A big thank you to Joanne for being our First Aid Officer ⛑️ and to Dave for being our Trail Boss.

Our end of month ride is Sunday 30th August at Monteagle. BYO lunch after the ride if you wish to hang around.
BYO water for our horses. Please RSVP our trail boss Dave on 0459420954 by Friday 28th August. Riders from other ATHRA Clubs are welcome but please let our contact person know you are coming for more information about the ride and show proof of ATHRA Membership.

Don’t forget members we have our GM & AGM Tuesday night.

👋 Hello Members, our next meeting will be held on Tuesday 4th August at Club Cowra. Dinner is at 6:30 in the bistro, followed by our meeting at 7:30. 🥘
We encourage everybody to come along to our meetings and help organise rides. 
‼️All positions will become vacant so if you wish to be on the committee or know of anyone that would love to be on the committee come along and vote. 🗳️

Awesome day.
Our end of month meeting place was at Noonbinna Silos. We rode up some gravel roads and quiet tar roads and met a lot of wild life 🦊 🦘 but the best part was exploring the beautiful and peaceful bushland, navigating fallen limbs and trees from the previous storm.
We had 7 riders with 2 guest riders.
4 riders had 4 new horses 🥴 all the horses were well behaved (maybe one horse was showing off) 😉
It was a nice easy 11km ride with not too chilly weather. After the ride we all headed back to our floats to feed and water the horses then we all sat down for a lovely lunch in the sun with lots of nibbles and snack courtesy of Ann 😋
Thanks to Joanne for being our first aid officer ⛑️ and to Dave for being trail boss 🤠 and thanks to Cheryl and Joanne for sending through photos.
I hope to see you all out on next month’s trials. 🤠

Hello all 👋
Our next end of month ride will be Sunday 26th July, from Noonbinna along the railway lines with a few road crossings and a bit of bush tracks. The ride will be between 2 to 3 hours. Bring your own lunch and also bring your own water for the horses. Our trail boss for this ride is Melinda , so RSVP by Thursday, 23rd July on 0413996594
Don’t forget Pic number and chair. Riders from other ATHRA clubs are welcome, so please let our contact person know you are coming so you can receive further information about the ride and to register. Don’t forget you need proof of ATHRA.
