Muay Thai Heart. “Heart” in Muay Thai is the biggest compliment if someone says you have a big heart and the ultimate insult if someone thinks you have no heart. I say “think” because they would never say it to you. They feel it. That’s the Thais for you.

But what do they mean? “Heart” in Muay Thai overcomes everything. It overcomes injuries, broken bones, blood and everything else with an overwhelming urge to win. An ultimate urge to defy the odds. Winning isn’t just a raised hand. It’s not giving up. It’s to keep going and to keep trying beyond what you think is possible. It’s no excuses despite the adversity in front of you. And if they see your heart, they will give you the world. But no heart? They won’t even bother using words. But you’ll know it. The empty feeling is worse than any knock out or physical pain you could ever experience. 💙🥊🔥🇹🇭🙏🏼
