An awesome weekend for Team Alliance & with taking out the state title in stellar form & putting in a gallant effort, at last night. .
We were fortunate once again to have head BJJ coach - professor cornering, running training sessions across the weekend & promoting & to while also received a well deserved stripe! 👏.
A fantastic weekend with a fantastic future ahead for this group, under the new guidance of BJJ coach Matt Zeitlhofer (& of course, professor Minol!)..
The future looks bright for high class (&mma!) in the nation's capital! 👏💪😎..

Fantastic sessions today at EMWJJ Canberra!
As always, high level detailed instruction for our team from our 4Th Degree Blackbelt Minol Tavares Tutida.
It is such a privilege to be part of a family with so much tradition that can be traced back to the beginning of Jiu Jitsu!

There is no better way to enjoy and celebrate our Clubs tradition and heritage, than to see members of our team rewarded for their hard work!
Well done Matthew Zeitlhofer for your promotion to Purple belt! A journey and level well and truly earned and deserved.
And congratulations to head coach Damien Philpott, promoted to Black Belt, after 8 years training under Professor Minol, showing that you can either buy your belt....or you can earn it, through hours of sweat, frustration, dedication & determination on the mats.

We would also like to congratulate those members for their well earned stripes today! Keep up the good work and continue raising the bar!

🥊 Our Co-Main Event will feature 2 seasoned fighters seeing local boy Chris Burridge go at it with Albury’s Tyi Johnstone for the MASA Middleweight Muay Thai Australian Title.
