Canberra - are you ready to test your might? The International King Kong Grip Challenge is coming.
We’ve teamed up with the Slam Pro Wrestling League and Ultra Fitness and Strength Gym to bring you Ultra SLAM - taking over Cypher Brewing Co. on 25–26 October 2025. Two days of raw strength, pro-wrestling action, live music, food trucks and beer.
International King Kong Grip Challenge - Canberra Edition
An international grip sport contest across four events:
• 2.25” Crusher (FBBC)
• Hub (IronMind)
• 1 5/8” Thumb Blaster (Arm Assassin)
• Little Big Horn (IronMind)
Weight Classes
Men: 59kg–120+kg | Women: 57kg–100+kg | Masters & Juniors divisions included
PLUS…
• 15-tonne Truck Pull – 20m, semi + trailer, open entry
• Slam Pro Wrestling – real wrestlers in the ring
• Live bands + food trucks all weekend
• Family fun - face painting & Sunday kids show
And because it’s a strongman weekend, we’re unleashing a strong beer exclusively for the weekend - Cypher Blue, Belgian Strong Ale (9.0%). Big, bold and not for the faint of heart.
