Last weekend the action unfolded at Watsons Oval with 19 teams across 3 codes and 6 grades battled it out for the honours Queensland Gaelic Football and Hurling Association Carpenter Cup 2026. πŸ†πŸπŸ‘

Four Mile GAA Port Douglas travelled to the Queensland Gaelic Football and Hurling Association Carpenter Cup for the second time comprehensively retaining both senior and intermediate ladies grades along with a 1 point victory in Intermediate Men’s. πŸπŸ†

Cairns Chieftains taking the honours in camogie, which featured for the very first time at Carpenter Cup 2026 along with senior men’s footballers retaining the title. πŸπŸ‘πŸ†

Townsville Wolfhounds GAC came out on top of the senior hurling section after their first time entering the competition. πŸ‘πŸ†

Special mention to John Mitchels GFC Souths Gaelic Football Club who returned for the second year running along with the lads from East Celts GAA Brisbane who made their presence off the pitch. πŸ‘

Notable mentions to the teams not pictured. Townsville Wolfhounds GAC Camogs featuring in their first final, Four Mile GAA Port Douglas Camogs fielding for the first occasion. Townsville Wolfhounds GAC Intermediate Men narrowly missing out on silverware.
