Cairns District Darts Association social darts club. located 40-42 Macnamara Street, Manunda
QLD 4870 The club has a friendly atmosphere & welcomes men & women.

Cairns & District Darts Association is a not for profit organisation providing the community of Cairns & it's surrounding areas an avenue to play social & competitive darts. Competitions are held every Monday & Wednesday evening, with special events held regularly throughout the year. The club has a fully serviced bar & kitchen providing refreshment & light snacks. Our yearly registration fee & game fees are affordable making this sport one of the cheapest to be involved in. Players can come along & become a pool player or bring friends to enter a team in our Wednesday nights competition.

· Not to be outdone by the heroics of Rooster, Willie Bytheway matched Larry Leedie’s record on Wednesday night, racking up an impressive 17 scores of 100 or more. A fantastic effort and a record well worth celebrating!

Franco Bianco— The Man, The Legend

From hunting crocodiles in the wilds of Far North Queensland, to chasing threadfin salmon in the remote waters around Normanton and bow hunting wild pigs through the bush, Franko Bianco has lived a life that’s unmistakably Queensland.

He’s cut cane along the coast from Mossman to Innisfail and worked installing manholes in tight, claustrophobic conditions that weren’t for the faint-hearted.

A hunter, a fisherman and a hard-working Queenslander, Franko has spent a lifetime taking on whatever the bush, the water or the job threw his way.

But through all the adventures, the hard yakka and the stories gathered along the way, there was one thing that never changed.

Darts was always where Franko’s heart was.

Franko Bianco — the man, the legend, and a true character of Far North Queensland.

It's been 11 months since we lost our dear friend. With that the Cairns & District Darts Association invite all members & guests to join us for the club's inaugural "𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐨 𝐁𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥" darts tournament.

📍 Venue: Railway Halls, 40–42 Macnamara Street, Manunda — the home of Cairns darts.
𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
- Date: Saturday September 12th
- Tournament Type: Open Event – everyone welcome, membership not required
- Entry Fee: $15.00
- Format: 501 Men's & Ladies singles, round robin to knockout.
- Doors Open: 8:30am
- Nominations Close: 9:30am sharp
- Event Draw: Conducted at 9:30am
- Start Time: 10:00am
- Player Check‑in: All participants must arrive no later than 9:00am
