💑The Role
We are looking for a Casual Mentor to support a NDIS participant in achieving her goals, building everyday life skills, and engaging meaningfully with her community.
Our client is a vibrant 24-year-old woman who loves TikTok, social media, dance classes, and singing. She is looking for a female mentor of a similar age who enjoys self-care, beauty, makeup, and clothes as well as light fitness and Dance. Someone who can share these passions, boost her confidence, and support her to navigate daily life and community spaces while having fun along the way.
Because every person we support is unique, no two days are quite the same. This is a varied, hands-on role where your adaptability, creativity, and compassionate nature will truly shine. Whether you are creating content, heading out to a dance class, exploring a new makeup look, wipping something up in tbe kitchen or building independence in everyday routines, your focus will always be on genuine connection and self-determination.
👀What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a dedicated mentor who doesn’t just understand support work but truly understands mentorship.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Industry Experience: A solid background working within the disability sector or community services.
* Shared Interests & Vibe: A genuine love for social media, TikTok, self-care, beauty, makeup, fashion, dance, and music and the ability to connect over these shared passions.
* A Mentorship Mindset: You know the difference between doing things for someone and empowering them to do things for themselves. You lead with patience, encouragement, and respect.
* Community Connection: Familiarity with the Busselton area and a passion for inclusive community participation.
* Aligned Values: You resonate with LifeSpark’s ethos; authentic connection, purpose-driven support, and a collaborative spirit.
(Note: In alignment with the participant's personal preferences and choices for her support team, we are seeking female applicants of a similar age.)
