Expressions of Interest – Representative Selectors

Inner West Netball Association is looking for experienced and enthusiastic netball people to join our 2026–2027 Representative Program as Selectors.

We’re looking for individuals with a strong understanding of the game, an eye for emerging talent and the confidence to recognise the skills and potential of developing players.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to think independently, contribute constructively and confidently rationalise your selections.

This is a great opportunity to play an important role in shaping the next generation of Inner West representative netball.

🏐 12 Years (born 2015) – Saturday 12 September | 8.30am–10.30am (Sign on 8.15am)
🏐 13 Years (born 2014) – Saturday 12 September | 10.30am–12.30pm (Sign on 10.15am)
🏐 14 Years (born 2013) – Saturday 12 September | 1.00pm–2.00pm (Sign on 12.45pm)
🏐 15 Years (born 2012) – Saturday 12 September | 2.00pm–3.00pm (Sign on 1.45pm)

Representative Skills Clinic & Training
Players selected into the Representative Squad will attend training at Cintra Park on Thursdays from 29 October to 26 November, 6.00pm–7.30pm.

Representative Phase 2 Trials

Wednesday 25 November
• Under 13s – 6.00pm–7.00pm
• Under 14s – 7.00pm–8.00pm
• Under 15s (if required) – 8.00pm–8.45pm

Thursday 26 November
• Under 11s – 5.30pm–7.00pm
• Under 12s – 7.00pm–8.00pm

2027 representative training will commence in early February.

WE’RE INTO THE PRELIM!

After a fantastic win on Thursday night, our IWNA Metro League Team 1 is through to the Division 2 Preliminary Final!

The girls are now just one win away from a Grand Final, and we’d love to see plenty of Inner West support on the sidelines.

Get down, wear your black and white, cheer loud and get behind the girls as they fight for a place in the Grand Final!

GRAND FINAL DAY — BEAT THE HEAT!

It’s Grand Final Day at Inner West Netball Association!

With temperatures expected to reach around 32°C today, we’re asking all players, coaches, umpires, officials and spectators to take extra care throughout the day.

- Keep your fluids up and drink regularly.
- Apply sunscreen and reapply throughout the day.
- Make the most of shade and opportunities to cool down.
- Keep an eye on your teammates, friends and family for signs of heat-related illness.

Most importantly, listen to your body and don’t push through if you’re feeling unwell.

Good luck to every team taking the court today. Play hard, support loudly and enjoy what promises to be a fantastic Grand Final Day!

A brilliant way to finish the regular season, but there’s more netball to come.
