Here. We. Go.

After weeks of training our squad are ready to rumble at nationals. Our mixed team has improved rapidly since winning the UNE tri-series, and will be looking to put on their show of skills.
Meanwhile, our womens team is looking to go one better than 2019, and boast a fierce lineup including EAP superstars Ella Johnson and Nat Sligar.

Our final award for the year, and a new annual award, is the Jemma Donoghue MVP Trophy.

Named after one of our biggest stars, Jemma is a 2 time Australian u21 rep, nsw rep, and most importantly, Giant #25.

Heading into the last round, there were 5 possible winners of this years award, but Sabrina Zeng came home with 3 points, becoming the first ever winner! A dynamic midcourter, Sabrina transitioned into GA this year to lead the Jaguars to many a victory!

Next up on our awards list is our team MVPs. These girls performed week in, week out for their team, and as a result were nominated for their teammates for the MVP trophy!

Following on from our Team of the Year, our Gala Dinner saw us unveil a new Annual award for Club Person of the Year.

This award has been named after Issie McCalman, an ex-president, Blues recipient and legend of the club both at a varsity and metro level. Issie embodies the values which the club holds dear; fierceness in competition, respect for those around her, and a dedication and reliability to the success of the club!

An extremely popular 2022 winner was Belle Whitwell, who was an ever present for the Leopards this season. Belle grew incredibly as an individual player throughout the season, but was always one of the loudest in support of her team mates - going above and beyond each week.

Congratulations to both girls! We are privileged to have you as a part of our club!

They did it! 🏆
A first ever premiership for the club for our B4 Leopards. A fantastic season for the girls, where they finished minor-premiers, before passing HNC in the final 33-30. 🐆
