Lets Go Surfing founder Brenda Miley started the school with one goal in mind, to create a fun, welcoming and safe place for women to learn to surf. Back then it was just Brenda, a Kombi van and a passion for sharing the stoke.

Since those early days, Lets Go Surfing has grown into so much more. From surf lessons and tours to educational programs and community events, we've introduced thousands of people to surfing and the ocean.

While our story began with creating a space where women felt comfortable giving surfing a go, that same welcoming spirit is still at the heart of everything we do. Whether you're catching your very first wave or building your confidence in the water, everyone is welcome.

There's a lot that goes into the Lets Go Surfing secret sauce. Our team are dedicated, highly qualified and passionate about coaching. But what really sets us apart is that while we take coaching seriously, we don't take ourselves too seriously. Our Byron Bay Kids Surf Lessons are all about building confidence, making friends and creating a lifelong love of the ocean.
With experienced coaches and a safe, supportive environment, every child can learn at their own pace while having fun in the waves.

Today is a bittersweet day as we say goodbye to our incredible Bookings Manager, Gabriela. 💙

Since joining the Lets Go Surfing family in 2017, Gab has been so much more than the person behind our bookings. She's represented LGS across Australia, Korea and Japan, helped grow our international community and created a more inclusive space for every surfer who walks through our doors. Her passion even helped us earn recognition at the Pride in Sport Awards.

Over the years we've watched Gab grow into an inspiring leader, all while remaining the fun-loving, creative problem solver we know and love.

Thank you for everything you've given to Lets Go Surfing. We wish you all the success in the world as you follow your next adventure.

There really is no place like Byron Bay. We love it for the world class waves, warm water all year round and relaxed lifestyle. Surf in the morning, grab a coffee afterwards and spend the rest of the day exploring waterfalls, the lush hinterland and the incredible local wildlife. Wander through local cafés, restaurants and boutique shops, or simply slow down and soak up the Byron vibe. There's always something to do, or nowhere you need to be.
