This was the moment ...Emerson had just died but we were showing her the world and in-turn introducing the world to our “Emmie”. We were promising Emmie & ourselves to live life wholeheartedly, to always carry her in our hearts, to take on new challenges and to allow ourselves to be vulnerable with openness, honesty, gratitude and a commitment to learning and loving.
It’s not the greatest photo but Emerson had burst into our world (Prematurely) 6 days earlier and in the blink of an eye she was gone.
Emerson’s Challenge - we are introducing it to the world. Each of us have been living and when it feels right have been setting new challenges to inspire us to grow and be our best. Alexa is learning to surf. Courtenay undertaking a course and I completed my Cert IV Fitness.
The next of Emerson’s Challenge I’d love your support for and to also inspire you to do your own challenge.
Since a teenager I had always wanted to complete a Triathlon. So the next “Emersons Challenge” is set. It’s been 8 months since Emmie died and for the past 4 months I’ve been training for a Triathlon- 950m Swim; 95km Bike; 21.1km Run. - which has been a massive commitment to say the least.
It’s in a month from now - so it’s crunch time.
If you can- I’d love your support- there’s more info in the link...
