Round 9 saw us welcome Narre Warren to Edwin Flack for a big day of netball, and while the results sheet showed a mix of wins and losses, there was plenty to be proud of across the club. 💙🤍
One of the biggest positives was the improvement shown by many of our teams compared to when we last met Narre earlier in the season. D Grade came away with a fantastic win, while both U15 Blues and B Grade reduced their losing margins, highlighting the growth and development taking place week after week.
A Grade were right in the contest against one of the competition’s benchmark teams, trailing by just five goals at half time before losing both a goaler and defender during the third quarter. Despite the setback, the team continued to show resilience and fight right to the final whistle.
What stood out most across the day was the progress being made throughout the club. From our juniors through to our seniors, teams continue to build, learn and improve, and that is something worth celebrating.
A huge thank you to our players, coaches, team managers, scorers, umpires, volunteers and supporters who helped make another successful home round possible.
