The historic event is back for its second year β€” Past Players Round is fast approaching on June 27th πŸ—“οΈ

From our very first days as Berwick Hockey Club in 1989, to becoming the Casey Cannons Hockey Club we proudly are today, this day is all about celebrating the people and moments that built our club.

We’ve reached out to past players far and wide, inviting them back to reconnect, share stories, relive memories and celebrate the journey β€” all while watching our current Cannon stars in action.

This year also marks a special milestone β€” 20 years since our 2006 Women’s State League 4 premiership victory πŸ†
Led by Captain Fiona Young, who also took home the Best & Fairest (and it definitely wasn’t her last!), it’s a moment worth celebrating together.

We’d love to see as many familiar faces as possible β€” head down to the clubrooms and be part of a truly special day in our history!

150 & counting for Rebecca Wagg!

Beccy is set to run out for her 150th CCHC senior game TOMORROW β€” a fantastic milestone and one well deserved.

Starting her hockey journey at Casey back in 2007 as a junior, Bec later moved to TEMS where she finished her junior years and began her senior career. In 2018, she returned home to Casey with the goal of enjoying her hockey and pushing herself to the next level β€” and she’s done exactly that.

A key part of our 2022 Premiership team and earning promotion into Vic League 1, Bec has since become a powerhouse in the backline. Known for her game-saving tackles and composure under pressure, she’s often the last line of defence β€” and a sneaky goal scorer too, with 23 goals and counting (not bad for a fullback πŸ‘€).
Wishing Beccy all the very best for her 150th β€” make sure you get down and support!
