This Saturday, we celebrate our captain, Will Arthurson's 100th senior game at Berwick Football Club. Head on down to the Club as we take on Vermont and support Will in his milestone game!
A ruthless competitor and one of the most dependable players in our football club.
Week after week, Will takes on the toughest opponents in the backline and competes with absolute ferocity. He never backs down from a contest and constantly puts his body on the line for his teammates.
Whether it’s supporting in the air with a perfectly timed spoil, covering for a teammate, or driving standards around the club, Will’s team-first attitude never wavers.
And while opposition players hate seeing him coming, we love nothing more than watching Will break a tackle and stream out of the backline with intent and power.
A premiership player at the club, Will has already played a significant role in the success and standards of our football program.
This milestone is made even more remarkable considering the adversity he faced returning from a torn ACL a couple of seasons ago. The resilience and determination he showed to get himself back playing great football says everything about his character.
100 games built on toughness, selflessness, resilience and relentless competitiveness.
