A HUGE congratulations to our Under 12s who are through to the FINALS!

What a game! Just ONE POINT in it. Absolutely nail-biting and nerve-wracking to watch, and we’re sure even more so to play!

Our U6s, U7s, U8s and U9s are all heading to Hassall Park this Sunday for one last morning of rugby to finish off a fantastic season.

Vale Gareth Blades 1944-2026
Wakehurst Rugby Club pays tribute to one of the Club’s most influential and loved figures, “Bladesy” who sadly passed away last week.
His legacy lives large at our wonderful Club, made all the more welcoming, competitive, friendly and embracing of the Rugby Spirit by his presence.
Over decades of Gareth’s commitment to this community, the Club has been enriched by his limitless generosity of time, his love of the game and his dedication to local sport.
His influence extended well beyond our shores, with his loss also felt by many in Fiji, where Bladsie has been instrumental in organising countless Wakehurst Rugby Tour groups sharing joyful moments with players and their Fijian hosts.
For all that he has done we say Thankyou - Vinaka vakalevu

A huge congratulations to our Under 12s, finishing the season as Minor Premiers and heading into the finals! 👏👏

And the good news doesn’t stop there — our Under 15s, combined with Newport Junior Rugby Club , and our Under 16s have also made it through to the finals.

Congratulations to all our players, coaches and families. What a fantastic achievement!
