Aldinga Football Club The Aldinga Football Club is a member of the Southern Football League (South Australia).

The Aldinga Football Club is one of South Australia's oldest football clubs with a proud and strong history. In 1879 Aldinga was one of four teams that founded what is now known as the Southern Football League. After a shaky first couple of decades, Aldinga soon found it's feet and went on to become the SFL's most successful side, winning 7 Premierships in 8 years in the late 1920's to early 30's, a record which is yet to be beaten. During and after the war, the club struggled until the late 80's and early 90's when it once again became a force within the league, winning a number of Premierships. Over the last decade Aldinga has struggled within the SFL but things are beginning to change. We now have the strongest and most successful mini's grade in the league. This success is beginning to flow into our junior sides and is starting to have some effect on the Senior Grades.

AFC hosted finals on Saturday and Sunday and would like to say a massive thank you to all our volunteers who helped make both days happen! From ground preparation, setup and pack-down to cleaning change rooms, preparing and serving food, and everything in between! 💪
We didn’t manage to snap a photo of everyone amid the chaos - but we did get a few!
Thank you again to the AFC Committee, Life Members, Saturday and Sunday competition players (senior and junior), Mini League parents, sponsors, and everyone who keeps our club running. We’d be lost without you! 🙏🖤💛

Aldinga Football Club is excited to announce Nathan Hedger as our Senior Men’s Coach for 2027 🖤💛

This is Nathan’s first official senior coaching appointment, but it’s built on strong experience.

Nathan has over 200 senior games under his belt playing with Myponga-Sellicks FC, Port Noarlunga FC and recently with Kangarilla FC. His Assistant Coaching role with Port Noarlunga in Season 24/25, under Jars, has helped shape his coaching approach and contributed to their on field success including a Premiership in 2025.

This experience will hold him in good stead to guide and continue to develop our young playing group. We are super excited to welcome Nathan and his family to the Sharks in 2027. 🖤💛

An exciting night at training 😍👏🏻

Adelaide Crows winning Premiership Captain Mark Bickley from the 1997/98 Premiership team, attended our Under 13 and Under 15 Boys training session last night!

He gave our boys an incredible insight into the his time at the Crows and winning premierships, and our boys really were thankful for this experience
leading into Sundays semi finals 💪🏻🖤💛
