The Big Thank You.

Thanks to everyone for coming out and helping us clear out a big pile of stuff and coming in to say good-byes and farewells.

We'll be around the shop pretty much everyday from here till the 31st, we have a lot of work to do, but the shop is not open. If you see us around feel free to come in, have a chat, maybe find a final bargain and help us tidy up, but we are no longer hiring out bikes or doing service work.

As to the question of where and when the new workshop will happen, the answer is 'in a bit'. Sorry we can't answer more accurately, allowing for the building industry's Christmas break it probably won't be until late Summer. GO GRAHAM!

Meet Legs 11 - Graham Hancox, he’s racing in our over 50 category although he looks much younger.

Graham has followed several practical pursuits over the years including engineering patternmaking, general fabrication and machining, gardening, bush regeneration, and has now settled on firewood production from his own property which I share with the very lovely Kerryn (who is also his support person again this year).

He’s been cycling since about eight years old and loves the bush having grown up in a family which did a lot of camping in remote outback areas. Graham has always dreamed of travelling long distance by bicycle and had succeeded a few times now. He also enjoys riding quiet bush tracks and climbing hills with amazing views.

This year will be his fifth Desert Challenge. He always looks forward to catching up with great friends from previous years and making new ones each time and we all are looking forward to seeing you and Kerryn again this year as well!
