***UPDATE***
Thanks to Poppy, Jane, Ben, Kirsty, Elizabeth and Katherine for responding to this call it makes a huge difference!
We are good to go tomorrow. Pedal Prix is operating nearby, so there will be increased people in the area, but no issue for our course.
And finally, I am confident in my weather forecast - in fact I'll upgrade it to being "quite sure I can guarantee that the weather will probably be better than last week". You're welcome!

Calling all Pakapakanthi parkrunners (yep, that's me calling!),
I can almost guarantee that the weather will probably be better than last Saturday. With that certainty we'll see you at 7:55am for the briefing before you head out!

But in order to go ahead we still need 2 course Marshals, and a minimum of one other barcoder - all these roles need availability for the whole time. Can you help? Drop us a DM or email us at [email protected] if you can help.

Can't help this week - no problem - we have plenty or roles in future weeks. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - we'll show you what is needed.

How impressive was it to see all our superstar volunteers turn up last weekend braving the elements that were thrown at us. I do believe that we can do the same again this weekend. Consequently we are still looking for marshals, finish token support, funnel managers and barcode scanners. We can’t guarantee the weather but if sporting, an umbrella and a raincoat we can promise you, that you will have a fun time supporting our participants and the ducks. 🦆 We can’t wait to see you out there. Let us know below how you can help.

Thanks very much to all the parkrunners and volunteers who came out to support us at our parkrun event today 329. Although it was very wet and soggy sock weather we had 137 finishers and 26 volunteers who braved these conditions. Thanks everyone for all your support being first time Run director and especially Elizabeth ☂️☔️
