Torrens Rowing Club The Torrens Rowing Club was founded in 1903 and is situated on the banks of the River Torrens in Adelaide, South Australia.

We have a strong commitment to rowing at all levels with crews actively training and competing at all ages and experience levels. Torrens Rowing Club (TRC) has 2 boat sheds, our main Club rooms and Function Centre in Adelaide, South Australia on the banks of the Torrens River (Victoria Drive, next to the King William Street bridge) and a boat shed on South Australia’s main 2000m rowing course, Wes

t Lakes, Military Road. Established from the collapse of the Banks Rowing Club in 1903, Torrens Rowing Club has promoted amateur rowing at all levels for over 100 years. From the beginner, stepping into the boat for the first time, right through to the Olympians who have been proud members of this club, TRC has for over a century ensured that it remains a strong presence in local, state, national and international regattas and has always attempted to support the individual to achieve their personal goals in any way it can. Regular social activities also occur within the Club. Since pre-WWII, the club has held traditional gatherings such as Opening Day, Christmas Reunion and an Annual Dinner, in addition to cocktail parties, quiz nights and other fundraising events. Our large function area caters for up to 150 people. This, combined with the magnificent view of the Torrens Lake, has become a much sought after function venue for a variety of uses.

New TRC member Emerson Cooper - who is also selected in the South Australian Team to race this weekend at the Under 22 Teams Rowing Championships ‘Oceania Regatta’ at Lake Wyaralong, Queensland.

This prestigious regatta brings together the region’s most promising under-22 athletes, showcasing the next generation of rowing talent across Oceania. A huge achievement to represent at this level.

A big congratulations and best of luck to Finn Redman - who’ll be racing this weekend in the South Australian Team at the Under 22 Teams Rowing Championships ‘Oceania Regatta’ at Lake Wyaralong, Queensland.

This prestigious regatta brings together the region’s most promising under-22 athletes, showcasing the next generation of rowing talent across Oceania. A huge achievement to represent at this level - we’re all behind you Finn!

Finn has solidly secured his spot on the team after a stellar 25/26 season, including:

• Gold - U21 2x, SA State Championships

• Gold - U21 4x, NSW State Championships

• A Final - U21 2x, Australian Rowing Championships
