Today marks the start of our club’s trial games, as our members take to the greens and put their skills to the test ahead of the upcoming pennant season.
It’s all about teamwork, determination, a little friendly competition… and, of course, trying to convince the selectors that we’re the ones they need! 😉😂
Best of luck to everyone taking part — bowl well, enjoy the challenge and most importantly, have fun!

Happy Valley Winter Indoor Bowls

Well, that’s a wrap on the season 2026

We wrapped things up with our indoor bowls lunch at the Flagstaff Hotel. A huge thank you goes out to Jill, Gibson and Jenny for all their hard work organizing and setting up our bowls games every week.

We had a brilliant turnout on a chilly day for the last game of Winter Social Bowls! Despite the cold weather, it was fantastic to see so many members and friends enjoying each other’s company, sharing plenty of laughs and making most of another great day on the greens.

Another good turnout yesterday for the last winter training session with Mark Taylor.
Training has been full of techniques, drills, advice, laughs, and plenty of moments where we thought we knew what we were doing…
it’s been such good fun 😂
Thanks again Mark, for the coaching, patience, and putting up with us. 🙌
