Today we celebrate more than just a game, we celebrate the friendships, teamwork, dedication, and community that make softball so special.

From the youngest players picking up a glove for the first time, to the lifelong volunteers, coaches, umpires, scorers, and supporters who give so much to our sport, thank you for helping softball thrive.

Huge shout-out and an even bigger thank you to our team officials who travelled to Berri with our teams this past weekend.

Men's Team:

Coaches - Nigel, Aaron and Georgia
Scorer - Bianca

A special mention needs to go to Nigel and Aaron who played in our men's team and then did the mad dash across the park to get to the women's game to coach. Also thank you to Jackie W for getting our women's team up and running 🐯

Huge thank you to our two umpires Madi & Ben who travelled to Berri with us for the Riverland Masters!

Your willingness to step onto the diamond, learn the craft of umpiring and give back to the softball community is something we are incredibly proud of. Umpires play a vital role in our game and seeing young people like yourselves embrace the challenge is fantastic for the future of softball. We wouldn’t have got to play without you both!

Also shout out to Ash for jumping in last minute to cover a game! 🩵

Day Three at Riverland Masters Softball Carnival had it all! Nail biting finishes, home runs, double plays and some spectacular catches!

Men Recap: 🖤
💥Nolan came sliding in home after hitting his first home run for the Tigers (One of many we hope!)
🐯 The men put some more points on the board after a draw against the Raptors!

Women Recap:
💛 The ladies went 2 from 4 today with some absolute nail-biting finishes.
💛 We had some fantastic outfield catches from Liz, Anna & Caryn and an impressive infield grab from Kylie at SECOND BASE. Yes - you read that correctly - she can do that too!

We’ve had a great day down at the Riverland Masters Softball Carnival! The weather was PERFECT ☀️

Mens Recap ⚡️
Some entertaining plays and even more entertaining pirate jokes thanks to the comedic stylings of Jon 🎤. These guys have managed to keep some pretty big teams at bay - even shutting them out for 0 runs a few times! They’ve also got their first W for the weekend! 🤩

Women’s Recap ⚡️
The girls won two of their three games today, Briellen has been on fire 🔥 with the bat (you can catch her in the Home Run Derby laster this evening!) and Jackie Williams has been hot stepping it out in Centrefield - nothing has gone through! The whole team is up and about and raring to go for their four games tomorrow!
