Functional training is training which has a purpose. More than that, functional training is focused on movement patterns that have a purpose.
The purpose can be related to getting better at everyday activities or preparing to compete in a sport such as our client Peter Jones (Masters Provincial lifesaver champion) is demonstrating.
Here he is engaging in functional athletic specific training with resistance power bands, looking to repeat his high performance results this coming summer under FITCO coach
