🔑 It applies to everything from nutrition to gymnastics to your career.⁣

🎯 Goal setting is usually where most people stop, but to really ATTAIN your goals—you have to build your skills
for goal achievement. Which goes a few levels deeper:⁣

1) What's the GOAL that we want to achieve?⁣

2) What are the SKILLS required to attain that goal?⁣

3) What are the daily PRACTICES that will help build those skills?

Getting in shape & improving your body tone takes time☝️
It’s a life style that needs to be embraced and like most things in life , you need to put in the time and effort to achieve these goals ..
Tips: set small achievable milestones that become a habit over a month then add another one and before long it’s a healthy habit..
Keep consistent in your efforts and you will be rewarded..
Don’t wait until tomorrow... start NOW😎🤩...

Can’t resist the chips… the cookies… the ice cream? It’s normal to feel like you can’t stop overeating certain types of foods.⁣⁠

Processed foods, in particular, are explicitly designed to be hyperpalatable and irresistible.

Try the “adding more “fruit and protein to your daily consumption 😎 instead of reaching for the quick refined choices of food😎... great tip form PN

Eating better usually starts with adding things, not taking them away. Eat more fruit. Eat more whole grains and legumes. Eat more lean protein*.

*Men tend to consume fattier sources of protein, which provide more calories, and women often struggle with getting enough protein overall.⁣⁠

This “add first” strategy can be highly effective at “crowding out” ultra-processed, hyper-palatable foods*.

*No, this doesn’t mean you have to live life without any “junk food”.⁣⁠

Besides getting more nutritious foods into your diet, something else often happens when you “add first”: You automatically eat less.⁣⁣⁠

An example: A recent study conducted at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (an institute of the NIH).⁣⁠

Twenty adults were admitted to a metabolic ward and randomized to a diet of ultra-processed foods or minimally-processed foods. They were allowed to consume as much or as little as desired.

After two weeks, they switched and did the alternative diet for two weeks.⁣⁣⁠

The result: As you can see in this chart, participants ate 508 more Calories per day and gained weight on the ultra-processed diet.

They lost weight on the minimally-processed diet.
