Filled my depleted cup this morning with a few hours in my happy place ⛰️🏃🏻‍♀️

Just me, the mountains and peace ✌🏽

The trails never disappoint - found a few caves which I'd never come across before, and the weather was perfect - no wind and slightly misty👌🏽

Found my sense of humour too, after a very long week of busy-ness 🥴 Happy days 🥳😂

Sunday......

What an epic morning running around mountains, taking selfies, talking non stop and admiring the absolutely glorious views 😍 And the beer and banter with friends afterwards was the biggest reward 😍

So much fun was had. 🥳

Work hard, play harder...

A stunning day out in the beautiful Mother City.
Heaven Coffee Shop for a delicious coffee and croissant- then headed to the Gardens to meet and greet the squirrels 🐿

Stopped off at The Old Biscuit Mill to satisfy our taste buds - we were so spoilt for choice with all the different foodstalls, but the Korean kitchen won hands down 😋

Will definitely be spending more time exploring our gorgeous city 😍

CONFESSION TIME...😂

I'm obviously gutted at not doing the route that I set out to do - however, my intuition was louder than my ego and I decided to abort mission 20mins out from Maclear's Beacon. The elevation was next level - first Newland's stairs then Nursery Ravine. My body took a huge toll and although the mind was willing, I needed to look after my body first and foremost. 💙

I will be back to do the proper route next year - this year I created and tamed my own Beast for the last 10km's 🤣
