What makes our PEAK HYBRID approach unique?

We don’t see it as just a way to “lift weights one day, do cardio on the next” - but rather as a fully tailored system where each day gives our members multiple options to INDIVIDUALIZE their workouts fully! 💪🏽

Beyond offering two programming tracks, CrossFit & HYROX, we also use different movement variations based on each persons technical capacity & skill level - and we often TAILOR the workout variables to for instance focus more on strength OR cardio within the same workout based on each individuals goals, needs, and preferences!

This is best expressed in our HYBRID Sessions where the participants chooses between those two tracks within the same single “class” - like during today’s lunch session captured here where our CrossFit programmed focused on higher level gymnastics skills vs the HYROX version with Wall Balls, Ring Rows and Bike/Running. 🏃

• “DEKA FIT” was a vibe!
• The medball Sit Up Tosses were ok..
• But RAM Burpees, wtf was that even..? 😅
• Running through Cape Town is a privilege - without a doubt one of the most epic cities in the world. ❤️

“DEKA FIT” - 10 Rounds For Time:
• 500m RUN
Then, ONE Station (in any order tomorrow):
• 30 “RAM Burpees” (loaded burpees)
• 500m Row Erg
• 20 Box Jump Overs
• 25 Med Ball Sit Up Throws
• 500m Ski Erg
• 100m Farmers Carry
• 25 Calorie Air Bike
• 20 D-ball/Sandbag over “wall” (120cm boxes)
• 100m Sled Pull & Push
• 20 “RAM Squats”

Almost 3 years in the making.. 🔥

When Brent started with us one of his big goals was to be able to do a full Rope Climb - today he got it, obviously with his partner Catherine, (and the rest of the gym), cheering him on!

A FEW COOL THINGS:

• Brent also took part in our last Reframe Your Lifestyle-kickstart (like Sonja) and dropped +3kg of body fat! 💪🏽

• This was during a PT-session with which Brent & Cath did using their PEAK Loyalty Points, why not use yours to tick off a goal with our world class Coaches too? ✅

Let’s HYBRID Race ourselves warm this winter! 🏃‍♀️ 🔥 🏃‍♂️

We’re turning our standard Community Saturdays into a proper opportunity to build & test some Fitness - Join as we race through winter!

Yes, the calendar linked up perfectly for HYROX CAPE TOWN in August - but we’ve chosen specifically these races as a way to enjoy these Saturdays regardless if CrossFit, HYROX or a Mix is your preferred training - there’s a bit of everything for everyone in there. 💪

IMPORTANT:
• These are NOT OFFICIAL RACES 🚫
• The format/order might be adjusted to fit big groups into a standard Saturday 75-90min session. 📝
• Well offer Individual/Partner and Full/Half variations of all races = ANY fitness level is welcome! 👯

PS. These sessions are part of our regular PEAK sessions = members have full access as per their memberships.
Non members are welcome to take part via Drop In-Sessions/10-session Packages. 👊🏽

Blood pressure meds down, no alcohol as a coping mechanism, but a lot Happier, Healthier & Fitter Sonja! 👏🏽

High level skills, yay/nay..? 🤷🏾‍♂️

Our philosophy is simple: you do you!

For some of us, walking on our hands, doing muscle ups and a bunch of other cool skills are really FUN, and if so we should do them - and for many others of us simple, brutal movements like sled pushes and mountain climbers is exactly what we need to get a great workout in..

That’s why our PEAK Programming always allows for individualized tailoring on a daily basis - so that you can do YOU. 💪🏽
