What a way to spend a Saturday morning! 🤩 Our Water Orphans Swim Gala was filled with big smiles, nervous starts, proud moments, PBs, cheering, laughter… and A LOT of splashing! 💦

To our incredible Water Orphans swimmers — YOU ROCKED IT! 🏅 Whether you smashed a PB, swam your first race, conquered those pre-race nerves or simply got in and gave it your all… WE ARE RIDICULOUSLY PROUD OF YOU! 🏆👏

A HUGE THANK YOU to our parents for cheering from the sidelines, encouraging the swimmers and supporting them every step (or stroke!) of the way 🙌

And then there are our instructors… 😎
THANK YOU for organising, planning, shouting, whistling, encouraging, organising AGAIN, chasing swimmers, calming nerves and generally keeping the entire operation from descending into complete aquatic chaos👏 You guys are absolute legends! 🫶

Today wasn’t just about medals… it was about confidence, courage, friendship, community and having FUN in the water! 🏊‍♂️

We couldn’t do it without our incredible Water Orphans family 💙 THANK YOU for making today one to remember!

Every swim school needs someone who keeps the chaos contained, the instructors neatly organised and the parents mostly happy… 😜

While the rest of us are busy splashing around in the pool, Tammy is behind the scenes making sure Water Orphans doesn’t sink!

Another specialty ticked off the list for Monnye! ✅

Today Monnye completed the PADI Navigation Specialty, learning to find her way underwater with confidence, precision and a whole lot more than just “follow the dive leader!” 😂

And the best part? She is not stopping here!

One specialty after another, building skills, experience and confidence with every dive. Because once you’re hooked on diving, there’s always another adventure, another skill to master and another reason to get back in the water! 💙

To every mom, daughter, sister, auntie, coach, teacher, and friend who keeps showing up, keeps believing and keeps making waves, you are stronger than you think, and your impact is bigger than you know!

At Water Orphans, we believe in raising confident swimmers who aren’t afraid to take on challenges, make a splash and discover just how capable they really are.

And because we don’t let a little thing like a public holiday keep us out of the water… 😉

We’re Back… 💙

The winter break has flown by, and tomorrow it’s finally time to swap the blankets for the pool! 🏊‍♀️

We can’t wait to welcome all our Water Orphans back for an exciting Term 3 filled with smiles, splashes, new skills and plenty of fun.

Here’s what to look forward to this term:

💦 Term 3: 27 July – 2 October
⭐ 5 September: Spring Swim Gala
🏊‍♂️ 10 August: Lessons will continue as normal
📅 24 & 25 September: No lessons
