Congratulations Wierdapark Tennis Club!

What a Season for our first mixed league team in so many years. We played some tough games, but remained UNDEFEATED in all our fixtures! Thank you to the team for a phenomenal season, our cheerleader Leoni and captain Andries. You are the real VIPs. 💪🏻

🎾 The Wierdapark Club Championships Open Tomorrow! 🎾

We’re thrilled to announce that the Wierdapark Club Championships are launching this Saturday, and the courts will be buzzing with action all day!

⏰ Match Schedule:

➡️First matches start at 11:30
➡️Final matches are set to begin at 16:00

Expect an exciting lineup of singles, doubles, and mixed doubles matches as players compete for the championship titles.

We invite spectators and supporters to join us for a day of great tennis, good vibes, and community spirit. Bring your enthusiasm, cheer on the players, and enjoy the atmosphere!

⚠️ Please Note: Social tennis will resume after the championships.

With all the amazing rain, Wierdapark looks like the green slopes of KZN!

BUT, weather permitting, we'll have a round of Saturday Socials tomorrow, 10 January. If you're around, join us for music, socialising and most importantly, TENNIS! We start at One and play until we're done/

Want to check us out? No problem! We have a space for all levels of players, from beginners to advanced. The visitor's fee is only R50pp, and full members play for free. Bring your own gear, we supply the balls.

We start at one and play until we're done.

Full members play for free, and R50 for visitors.

It was a fine day for tennis!🎾 🎾 🎾

Our first team remains unbeaten, winning 5-2. Awesome stuff guys! 💪🏻

Unfortunately our Men’s 2nd, 3rd and Ladies fixtures did not go as well. We have to acknowledge the 2nd team’s remarkable winning streak since 2022. Tough break today guys, but here’s to the next streak! 🍻

With three fixtures down we only have two remaining before the normal Saturday socials return. We are planning big things for our newly resurfaced courts. Even the club house and lapa is getting a bit of a face lift. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this happen. You are the real champions! 🏆

So watch this space! 👀
