PRODUCT REVIEW – WHY IT WORKS

I spooled my Okuma Salina 4000 and 6000 with Boss Braid Forge 20lb 12X +1, paired with a 40lb Leader, and immediately noticed the difference.

Designed as a premium braided fishing line, the Forge 12X +1 is constructed using 12 tightly woven PE fibre strands wrapped around a single monofilament polymer core. This unique 12 +1 configuration creates an exceptionally round braid profile, reducing flat spots while improving structural integrity, casting performance, and overall strength.

300mt 80lb and Maxima 0.90 leader.
The Slick series incorporates a Teflon-coating process and is manufactured from premium polyethylene yarns offering superior durability and abrasion resistance.
Using a braid that has a good coating and 8 strands is a must.
The coating reduces friction between the fibers, water absorption, friction on guides when casting, and increases knot strength thus increasing longevity.
