FROM U16/B CAPTAIN TO SENIOR FOOTBALL

A proud moment for Edgemead FC
Saturday afternoon marked a special milestone in the footballing journey of Ross Smeda, captain of our U16/B side, as he stepped onto the pitch to make his senior 3rd side debut against Saxon Rovers at our home ground.

For Ross, it was more than just another match, it was the next step in what we hope will be a long and successful footballing career. Seeing one of our young players progress from youth football into the senior ranks is something that makes everyone at Edgemead incredibly proud.

Ross has shown commitment, leadership and a real passion for the game, qualities that have seen him earn the captaincy of our U16/B side and now receive the opportunity to test himself at senior level.

Your hard work is paying off, and we couldn’t be prouder to see our young talent stepping up and representing the club at the next level.
