Outside Edge school of cricket would like to congratulate and send a special shout out to these 3 students
Ethan Strydom, Josh Brink and Luke Bloemetje ( left to right ) of Edgemead primary completed an unbeaten 100 run second wicket partnership for their victorious school game against Van Riebeeck stand
We at OE are so proud of their use of technical knowledge and theory to complete this milestone

COMPETITION and KNOWLEDGE : if you can explain how 3 boys completed an unbeaten 100 partnership for the second wicket there is a prize to be won 🏏🏏🏏

2 boys will win a complimentary 1 hr batting session with coaches and ball machine ( about 120 balls each will be faced )

As winter nets come to an end some special players graduated through a training programme and set themselves up nicely for a few upcoming tournaments

With winter upon us and Recent rains , Outside Edge School of Cricket was not going to deny these Cricket Boys a chance to continue building cricket readiness for the season and we recently partnered with Raising Moms: Tearing down the Walls to put the Boys through a HITT program hosted by Liza Bloemetje . Thank you Liza Bloemetje and I am sure the boys will be back to continue building Core strength and Match fitness .

With cricket season ending officially at club and school level and CPL and winter leagues starting, Outside Edge school of cricket will be running Winter net training sessions every Friday between 16h00-17h00 at Edgemead CC Nets. The sessions will focus mainly on cricket fitness and the mental applications that the game requires. Sessions are based on a pay per session attendance system and will be weather dependant.
