It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Bob Marx, a dedicated member of the Wisconsin Rapids Aqua Skiers and a true leader in the sport of show skiing.
Bob and his family joined the Aqua Skiers in 1982 and were active with the team through the early 1990s. He also served the sport in numerous leadership roles, including State and National Tournament Director and President of the Wisconsin Water Ski Federation from 1989–1991 and again from 1995–2000. In 2001, Bob was inducted into the Wisconsin Water Ski Hall of Fame.
In 2022, we were proud to recognize Bob with the Aqua Skiers’ Jack Lukes Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication and lasting contributions to our team and the sport.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Bob’s family and friends during this difficult time. Thank you, Bob, for everything you gave to the Aqua Skiers and the show ski community. You will be deeply missed.
