As Summer edges closer to the month of August thoughts of time afield chasing upland birds resurface in our memories.

The fields are in great shape, with the resent rain and heat which should provide for another exciting season.

Dates of Interest:

* Fields will open on 1 August 2026 for dog training.

* 1st day of Upland Bird Hunting is Saturday, 5 September 2026.

Have a safe remainder of your Summer and please continue to follow us on Facebook and on our Website for additional information as to the services that we provide.

We look forward to seeing you in the fields this fall.

Kick 'em up! Knock 'em down!

Late Winter Blues?

Let's get outside and do some Upland Bird Hunting. The fields at Mountain View Acres are huntable and we have plenty of birds.

You are welcome to bring your own dog or hunt with one of our guides and dogs.
