**Auditions are open to the public and we welcome both new and returning dancers who are ready to take their training to the next level.

9:00 AM– Dancer Registration
9:15 AM– Parent & Dancer Information Meeting
9:30 AM– Auditions Begin

🩰Audition Schedule

Jazz: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Hip Hop: 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM
Contemporary: 11:45 AM – 1:00 PM
Tap: 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM

*Please note: This is a tentative schedule and serves as a general timeline for the day. Auditions may run ahead of or behind schedule, so dancers should be prepared to stay for the duration of the audition process.*

Audition Eligibility & Requirements

• Dancers must be 8 years of age or older.
• Dancers should possess strong technical skills in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Tap.
• Students must be enrolled in Intermediate or Advanced level classes for the upcoming season to be eligible to audition.
• Competition Team members are required to audition each year, including returning team members.
• Auditions are open to both new and returning dancers.

What to Wear & Bring

✔ Black leotard
✔ Pink or tan tights
✔ All dance shoes (Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, etc.)
✔ Hair neatly secured and pulled back from the face
✔ Water bottle

We are teaming up with Grace and Bloom again for our recital flowers! 💐 🌺

Flowers can be pre-ordered online by clicking the link below. If you have any questions, or would still like to order by call/text, you can reach out to Karyssa at Grace and Bloom. Pre-orders must be placed by June 1st!

Grace and Bloom will be offering 3 different bouquet options to purchase. Please see the attached flyer for pricing and bouquet descriptions. If you are placing a pre-order online, please select “store pick-up”. All flowers will be brought to RPAC on the day of the show for everyone to pick up.

Karyssa will also be selling bouquets at the show, but quantities will be limited. The same bouquet options will be available, along with single roses and single carnations for purchase. You can pay by cash, card, or Venmo to Grace Bloom. *Credit card fees will apply.

We’ve had back to back weekends in Pittsburgh for two different dance competitions. Both weekends went very well and I’m so proud of our entire competition team, but I have to share an exciting highlight from this past weekend at Ultra Dance Tour. I will share our results and achievements from both competitions in separate posts!

We’ve never been to this competition before so we didn’t know what to expect. This competition features power performances, where the judges can hit a buzzer for performances that they enjoyed, similar to America’s Got Talent. There are only select routines that receive this throughout the entire weekend and the girls were hoping to get this recognition so badly. We were on our final number of the weekend and our Pro Company dancers received a power performance for their contemporary dance. ⚡️

Needless to say, there were many happy tears and the girls were overjoyed. I’m so proud of these girls and their commitment to the company, their dances, and to one another. I love working with these girls. They are true team players. They work so hard in and out of the studio and I’m so grateful for their dedication. This was so well deserved and I could not be more proud of them. ❤️🖤🤩

The studio will be closed this week (March 30th - April 3rd) for Easter Break. Classes will resume next Monday, April 6th.
