“I think one of the challenges it just seems like people today and society in general are angrier. It just seems like some of the edge to some of that criticism that officials have to listen to just gets worse and worse,” Uyl said.

So true. However, I would like to think that because the way Greg set the stage before you walk on, there are no strikes, there are warnings, he definitely enforces a no tolerance to such behavior. We are lucky to have umpires who enjoy working for Iron Horse. And wonderful parents who help make the atmosphere of watching a game pleasing, pleasant, peaceful and positive. Thank you ☺️

Remember, if you have a issue please go directly to the director in charge or to Greg, the owner. There is and will always be two sides to the story. And venting on social media does no good. Build, encourage and find peace as adults. Thank you 😊

Running and owning a Sports Complex is not the easiest and definitely not an appreciative hobby one can endure, at times. Yet, we do. We do this for the community. We do this for the young children, we do this for the young adults. There is a bigger picture here than most realize. My husband built this complex not because he had to, but because he wanted to. His time away from his family since opening has been trying. But understanding. 16 hour days to work with children in his favorite sport...baseball... is overwhelming and passionate. I’m not looking for appreciation. I’m looking for understanding. Especially something so simple as to pay $2.00 at the door or other common complaints that seem to be never ending. Nothing has changed since the day we opened 4 years ago. There will always be a gate fee. We are no different than any other big ball field. Unless they add it to your registration fee then you pay at the gate. My son has been on a travel baseball team for 6 years all over the east coast. We’ve always had to pay. He’s on a travel basketball team. We’ve always had to pay. There is a bigger picture when you pay. It pays for the overhead among other things. Please be understanding and please think about the question and complaint before attacking and yelling at our staff and especially my Husband.

Traveling in this weather is not safe. Stay away far away from 271 towards Jtown. It should be closed. It's really bad out there. Our concern is the safety of the children riding and driving in this stuff.

As Admin, I’m lacking terribly. 🤦‍♀️ Now with baseball season fast approaching I hope to gain momentum. I know that Greg is so ready for the games to begin. It’s going to be a busy season with new teams arriving. While Greg is running Iron Horse, I have branched off to open a new business. Ligonier Paws On Main. A Pet Boutique Bakery soon to be a doggie cafe. ❤️. I’m excited for this new chapter.

Had no hard rain for a long time.
Plan Ironhorse tournament for this weekend. It rains. Andddd it’s finally cold outside 🤦‍♀️

Every tournament..every single tournament, it literally rains.

Could someone please speak to Mother Nature and ask her what her problem is with baseball 🤷‍♀️💦💧⛈🌬❄️☔️
