Bright Moon Eventing is a full service boarding, training, lesson facility for eventing, show jumping, and dressage.

At Bright Moon Eventing we believe that every rider and horse are different. It is our goal to provide a safe, positive learning environment so that both riders and horses can reach their full potential. Bright Moon Eventing offers lessons in jumping and dressage. While her primary focus is eventing, trainer Karen Conk believes that all horse sports need the same basics. It is her goal to give riders the tools they need to succeed at riding, whether it be trail riding or competitive eventing. Karen is available to teach nights and weekends.

So much has happened in the last month at Bright Moon Eventing! But we’d like to announce our new location at Credence Equine in Boyce Virginia!

We have one or two stalls open for boarding and training at our new location. We have an indoor with lights that allows for evening lessons and riding. We also have lesson horses available for teaching on for all levels. Reach out to see how we can help you reach your riding goals.

Price Reduction! Looking to find his new person by the end of September!

Are you looking for a pocket rocket to move up the levels? Someone flashy that will get you noticed? Then Waps Cool Rookie is the horse for you.

“Loki” is a 15.3 hand registered Appaloosa/Ahkel-Teke gelding. He’s 11 years old. He wasn’t broken until he was 7 so he got a later start in life and has many more years ahead of him. He’s sound with no maintenance. Stands for the farrier and vet. Clips, loads, travels well. Well behaved and easy to deal with at shows. Ties to the trailer. Does everything you want your horse to do.

Under saddle Loki is a pocket rocket. He likes to jump and he likes to go forward. He has been owned and ridden full time the last two years by an amateur so he is forgiving of mistakes but he needs a brave and confident rider as he is very forward thinking and likes to go. Very brave XC and loves water. He has scope and athleticism for days and his dressage is getting stronger and more consistent. No issues with ditches or banks. He has the scope and the base training to start moving up the levels.

Loki is located in White Post Virginia. Asking mid-lower 5s (starting with a 2) and the perfect home is a must. Contact Karen at [email protected] or 571-296-1949 to come meet this one of a kind guy.

Bright Moon Eventing is looking to add a member to the team. We are looking for a part time (or full time) working student. We can work around your schedule so it could easily fit someone wanting to do some work after school and on weekends. You can bring your own horse or have lessons and rides on one of ours. This is primary work in exchange for lessons and boarding but could possibly be a paid position for a limited number of hours. Located in White Post Virginia.

Reach out to Karen for more information. 571-296-1949 or [email protected] or send us a message through Facebook!
