People that know that I own and teach at a Jiu-Jitsu academy will ask me various questions about martial arts.

One question that I get a lot is, "Could you hold a course on self-defense?". Or they'll say, "Let me know if you ever offer a self-defense course."

Silverback Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has been teaching Jiu-Jitsu classes ever since it opened in December of 2016. Many people have joined and been learning our entire curriculum as we go along. But I understand that not everyone wants to jump right in and become proficient in the many aspects of Jiu-Jitsu.

I hate to see anyone completely miss out on the benefits of knowing at least the basics, which is why I offer this course from time to time. So, if you've been waiting for something like this opportunity to come along, now is the time.

I am going to offer a four-week Women's Self-Defense course starting Saturday morning, May 30th! Open to females, ages 14 and older.

Classes will be at 8:00 AM each Saturday starting May 30th, ending June 20th. They will run about 50 minutes. Use the QR-code in the flyer to sign up. The class size will be limited, so sign up as soon as you know for sure that you will attend.

The total cost for the course will be $60. A reduced cost thanks to a partial sponsorship from "Varsity & Company Chiropractic LLC"!
