This Friday, August 28, check out the Coast Connection Project, produced and choreographed by Moco's own Hannah Haines!

A new original contemporary dance work, Hiraeth explores our emotional reactions to our changing climate and shifting coastline. Set to a sweeping score by Jane Antonia Cornish, with athletic and sculptural choreography by Hannah Haines, this haunting work invites you to celebrate, mourn, and ponder the meaning of landscape and home.

This event will be presented at the historic Temple at Ocean Park, and will feature fine art by Maine artists Rachel Somerville and Debra Laplante throughout the space. The matinee performance will be followed by an interdisciplinary discussion, "Coping with Climate Change."

🎉 The Moving Company Dance Studio is pleased to open General Registration for new students who wish to join our 2026-2027 session! (Link in comments)

💃 As we begin a new season of dance, we reaffirm our commitment to providing a quality dance education to students of all ages in the Mid-Coast area in our welcoming and supportive environment.

💖 We are a small studio with a dedicated student body, and several classes have filled during our Priority Registration period. If a class you are interested in is listed as full on our Class Portal, please add yourself to the waitlist.

🙌🏼 All class placements are at the discretion of the director. We look forward to helping you find the right dance class for your student - thank you!

🎉Priority Registration for our returning students opened Monday and continues this week! We're so glad to know so many of our dance friends will be back in the studio this fall.

☀ Haven't registered yet? We know summer is busy! This is just your friendly reminder that while many classes still have availability, a few are beginning to fill up, so if you already know your fall plans, now is a great time to reserve your spot.
