This November marks a huge milestone for me. Five years ago, I took the plunge and opened my own Kenpo school.

Teaching this art was something I wanted to do ever since Dan D’Onfro asked me to teach a couple of yellow belts back when I was still a brown belt. I don’t know if you’d call it a calling or just a drive, but from that moment on, I knew I wanted to pass on this art.

After years of training and hard work, I officially opened the doors to RI Kenpo Karate Academy in 2021.

Despite every challenge along the way, opening this school remains one of the absolute best decisions of my life.
To celebrate five years, I’m hosting a special seminar featuring a few of the people who have helped me most along my journey. This event is open to everyone—regardless of style, rank, or lineage.

As the school year kicks into high gear and routines shift, your safety and confidence shouldn't take a back seat. For the month of September, all our Women’s Self-Defense classes are free!

When: Saturdays from 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM

Cost: FREE for September (Normally $20 drop-in)

Just a reminder that RI Kenpo Karate Academy is on summer break. There are no classes scheduled from now through August 31st.
We will resume our regular schedule on Tuesday, September 1st. Have a great week, and we look forward to seeing everyone on the mats!
