26" rattan escrima, sanded smooth, finished with a dark cherry stain wash, one stick finished with 6 coats of gloss and buffed, you can see the difference between gloss and no gloss in the pictures,. Both sticks been in use and to be refinished son and both in high gloss after some engraving

After a final fine sanding to take off and imperfections from carving and burning, they can receive several coats of high gloss before buffing, here they are 4 coats in, still think a couple more needed to achieve the finish we desire.

All three clubs stenciled out, carved and burned, time to prep for the next step.

this is a set of 3, 1" dia heavy clubs approx 20" long, stripped previous pink coating off, steamed and sanded imperfections outs. Smoothed out surfaces, 4 coats of hand rubbed stain, 2 coats of clear urethane on them. Now to stencil out the kanji for the order than a quick wet sand and 4 more coats of clear. They have also been pre drilled in one end of 2 club and both ends of 1 to be able to convert to a 3 section staff.
