P8 Finish for the 1

The car was really good all day. We started P12 in the feature and worked our way toward the front, getting up to 6th and working on 5th when the caution came out with 3 laps to go.

We restarted 5th, but got stuck on the bottom with nowhere to go and fell back to 9th. We were able to fight back and pass for 8th coming to the checkered flag.

The USNEPower Energizer 1 Lite is still in one piece, and now we’re on to Stafford Speedway for the Fall Finale next week!

Stafford Speedway – 9/11/26

P21 Finish for the 01

We got to Stafford Speedway Friday morning to get some testing in before race day. With this being our first time at Stafford and having just rebuilt the car, we wanted to use the extra track time to get comfortable, work out some of the bugs, and get the car dialed in.

We made some good changes throughout practice and found some speed. By the end of practice, we were 10th fastest out of 30 cars, which gave us a lot of confidence going into the race.

We started the 20-lap feature dead last and focused on making it through the race clean and learning as much as possible.

We were able to make it through all 20 laps without putting a scratch on the car and brought our USNEPower Energizer 01 home 21st.

Not the finish we were looking for, but a great learning experience at a new track. We found some speed, got valuable seat time, and have a lot to build on going forward.

Now we’ll turn the car around for Wednesday at Thompson Speedway, where we expect to be contending for a top-5 finish.

The Energizer 1 Lite is Rebranding to the Energizer 01 and Heading to Stafford!

Next Friday, TJ Tomasi Racing makes its Stafford Motor Speedway debut!

After a long rebuild following our last race at Waterford, the #01 SK Light Modified is finally back and ready to go.

This will be our first time racing at Stafford, and we’re ready to take on the challenge of one of New England’s most competitive tracks.

Our focus is simple: learn the track, race hard, and bring home a strong finish in our Stafford debut.

The car is about ready to be FAST again! Getting everything ready for Stafford in a couple weeks. We don’t have a hard date locked in just yet, but the car will be ready and we’ll be waiting to rip!

This rebuild has taken a little longer than expected, so I want to thank everyone for sticking with me through it. After Waterford on June 20, the car ended up needing to be clipped, and that came right in the middle of our busiest stretch of the year over here at DHM Motorsports . We made the tough decision to put the car on the back burner for a little while.

Now, after a motor swap and plenty of long nights in the shop, she is just about ready to rip again. Just got a few small things left to do, and we’ll be ready to go!
