The car is about ready to be FAST again! Getting everything ready for Stafford in a couple weeks. We don’t have a hard date locked in just yet, but the car will be ready and we’ll be waiting to rip!

This rebuild has taken a little longer than expected, so I want to thank everyone for sticking with me through it. After Waterford on June 20, the car ended up needing to be clipped, and that came right in the middle of our busiest stretch of the year over here at DHM Motorsports . We made the tough decision to put the car on the back burner for a little while.

Now, after a motor swap and plenty of long nights in the shop, she is just about ready to rip again. Just got a few small things left to do, and we’ll be ready to go!

The New London-Waterford Speedbowl – June 20, 2026
Energizer 1 Lite Weekend Recap

Had decent speed in the car all day at Waterford and felt like we had a car capable of moving forward. Unfortunately, our night came to an early end after being involved in a pileup on lap 4 of the feature.

After unloading the car, we stayed late Saturday night evaluating the damage and removing the damaged components. Once we got everything apart and took a closer look, we came to the conclusion that the damage is too significant to have the car repaired to the standard we expect it to be at for Wednesday at Thompson. We will have the car clipped and repair it correctly before returning to competition.

It's a disappointing way to end the night, especially after showing good speed throughout the day, but we'll take the time to repair the car the right way and come back stronger.

It’s race day at the The New London-Waterford Speedbowl!

The USNE Power Energizer 1 Lite is ready to hit the track for another night of SK Light Modified racing.

Due to the forecast we have decided it was best to cancel tomorrow's Wings and Wheels event.

We will work together with the groups to reschedule their events with details to be revealed at a later time.

We'll see you this week for the Thursday Night Thunder season opener, and next Saturday when the Compacts take to the track for the first time in 2026

Wings & Wheels is back at the 'Bowl!

The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series is in town this weekend with 28 drivers on the entry list for 100 laps. The NEMA Lites will be turning 50 laps. The Northeastern Midget Association, SK Modifieds®, and SK Lights will also be in action for a high speed high grip thrill at the shoreline.
