Greeting from the Montreal F1 race!!! Raymond, Margaret, Stephen, Stephanie and the kids have joined Theresa to celebrate Randy 15’s birthday and his first F1 race!!! Pictures to come in a later post but wanted to share this video Raymond made on a visit to the track back in the winter of 2022…. The video is 1 lap around the track with audio sharing pre-covid history from live tv broadcasts and a description of the layout.

Did you know anyone can go drive this track FREE most days of the year??? It is only about 4.5hrs from Boston and well worth the drive up through the New England mountains in NH/Vt. on your way into Canada.

Ever want to see the race up close… like closer than the fans???? Another cool thing you can do… is work a flag station at the F1 race!!! For more information on that reach out to New England Region SCCA!!! Speaking of flaggers, one active flagger and racer Krista Crotty has also raced on this circuit!!!

Anyway we sat at the S/F line yesterday and today we will be sitting in the hairpin! If anyone else is up watching send us a message! Hope you enjoy the video 🙂

We should be racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with New England Region SCCA but we had to give Ashlyn driving lessons across the Kangamangus and had to take our Precision Motorsports shirt for another ski adventure… closing day at Black Mountain Ski Area!!!

So the truth had to come out at some point!

Yes we took a P1 in class at yesterday’s Northeast GT (NEGT) series race, but the truth was we wanted to give up, pack it in, and multiple times said “this isn’t worth it, we are coming in. This is real footage, unedited from the Race-keeper video camera.

Truth is we pushed on, we are racers, we don’t give up. We had a small gap at the bottom of the windshield that we could see through… barely. More importantly we had a level of TRUST that everyone else on track was being just as cautious and was just as scared as we were. After all this really is “real clean racing” in the Northeast GT series. We also had TRUST in the flaggers at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park that they would warn us of trouble ahead along with the flagtronics system we had more visibility to concerns ahead than ever. If you want to race on track in a series that has invested in a culture of safe racing and you are here to race and push your comfort zone but in a respectful way… well then this is your series.

Thanks to Race-Keeper Trivinci for capturing these moments and to Hoosier Racing Tire and Hoosier Tire East for giving us the grip to keep going!

We are excited to report that the NDI team got back on track after this scary incident coming onto the front straight at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in last nights round 2 of the Northeast GT series. Here is the Race Keeper video we captured... notice the lack of visibility we had... This is actually better quality than we could see as this Race-Keeper Trivinci camera system did a great job making it actually look better than it was! We hope the damage wasn't to bad NDI and that they will get the car back to 100% soon, they are great competition and keep us on our toes at every event, it wouldn't be the same without them!

Big Thanks to Hoosier Tire East as well, in these crazy conditions with no defroster we still managed the FTD (Fastest Time of the Day) for the entire field of racers!

Well it was a challenge…. Between the rain, troubles on grid, a fogging windshield for Raymond Blethen, making a pit stop just prior to A FCY and what we think is a broken rear diff on Zack Kelly we had a very hard race to finish. More on that soon but for now time to celebrate, we still managed a class win in GT11, took home the FTD thanks to a ripping lap from Stephen Blethen and the Mazda Motorsports RX8 with a Precision Motorsports cage sitting on Hoosier Racing Tire’s from Hoosier Tire East that is powered by a Can-Saf Auto Repair rebuilt engine!!! is going back in the trailer in one piece!!!

Another shout out to ExploringNH, TRiPOINT Technical Services, 3D Auto Works Inc, Summit Racing Equipment, Hawk Performance and Race-Keeper Trivinci!!!

Drivers meeting with Northeast GT (NEGT) for round 2!!! Will be a rain race tonight… 3hr endurance race from 7pm - 10pm. Raymond, Stephen and Zack will be back behind the wheel with Randy, Jim, Tim and Matt manning the pit wall!!!

Well that victory speech was an epic fail 🙄…. But what a great way to start the season 🤩 - P1 in the GT11 class and P2 overall with Northeast GT (NEGT)!!!

Zack Kelly was flying in the first stint, Stephen Blethen maintained pace on the overall P1 position and with the help of Randy Schneiderheinze and James Chafe we came out of the last round of pit stops in P1 overall!!! Raymond Blethen finished up the last stint, we were no match for the Ginetta but still ended up finishing on the same overall lead lap after nearly 3hrs of racing… not bad team not bad!!!

Zack Kelly is loving the Hoosier Racing Tire Track Attack Pro’s from Hoosier Tire East - ripping around the track turning 19’s in the RST Performance Racing RX8. So for those following on race monitor a lack of predictability is the name of the game with this crew of folks…. A FCY came out 15min into the race so a splash and go to make sure we had enough gas was in the cards, we dropped to the back of the pack and have worked our way back up to second overall… chasing down the 3D Auto Works Inc Ginetta!!!
