We made our first trip to go road racing in almost 2 years at New Hampshire motor Speedway. But it was the place to be for us this weekend. We did make some improvements and gains throughout the first part of the day  and finished just outside the top 10 in the first race. The second part of the day came another qualifying race and another feature race, but unfortunately, we blew a rear end gear during qualifying and there was just not enough time to change it before the feature. Unfortunately, we did not get to race that race. But we did spend some time with friends at the Track and get to relax just for a little bit.

It’s been a while but Friday, we head back to New Hampshire motor speedway for some road racing!!! 2 races in 1 day!!!...

Oxford recap from Saturday…. We struggled with the car all day but finally got it better just before the feature. There was racing contact in the heat race and we spun, the car didn’t refire right away, and Adam was told not to rejoin the field and leave the track. This had him starting at the back of a 16 car field for the feature. He made great progress up to tenth place and then got punted in turn 1 spinning out, sending other cars off track, and bringing out a caution. He had to restart in the back again. At the checkered flag, he had worked himself back to an 8th place finish.! A great recovery and finish for the day we had.
As exhausting as the weekend was, we got to see some race friends we havent seen in a while and experience a new race track for us.

Same place different day. There is no rain in the forecast and we are looking to make progress from yesterday!!!

Oxford 250 weekend…… this is a new track for us. We showed up yesterday a little off the pace, made some great progress by the heat race, and then lost some of that progress for the feature. Driver did his job, the wrench turned did not. Mother Nature showed up for a little bit during practice and was angry. 1/2 hour hour later the sun was out and she was happy again so we could get the day of racing in.

But, we get another chance at it today and another day of racing in!!

We made the trip north to Epping NH and Star Speedway! The car was pretty good right out of the trailer. Adam was fifth fast throughout practice and finished the feature in 4th, mostly sideways, within arms reach of 2 other cars!! It was a good hard battle to the finish line!!

Only some of the family made it to White Mountain Motorsports Park….. but it’s race day again!!
