World Series of Racing at Thompson Speedway

We started P8 in the Feature and made our way to P4 before getting spun in turn 3 with three laps to go. We were able to make our way back up and finish P5. Not the finish we were looking for, but we were still able to clinch the 2022 Mini Stock Championship title!

It has been a great season for the Four82 Racing Team and a pleasure running with the best drivers in the division!

Waterford Speed Bowl Features - May 14th & May 21st

I want to start off by thanking everyone that gave us a hand swapping out the transmission that was destroyed in the make up Feature from 5-14: Chris Ivory, Chris Garside, Dan Garside, Dave Trudeau, Scott Bellisle, Rick LaFlesh, Don Simons, Ryan Woodcock, Tyler Moore, and Jason Williams & his crew.

Starting P4 in the make up Feature from 5-14, we made our way up to the outside pole for a restart and that’s when the transmission locked up. Due to the locked up transmission, we sustained heavy damage to the left side and had to be towed off the track giving us a P12 finish.

With no qualifying for our division because of the make up Feature, we were starting P11 in this Saturdays Feature, but that didn’t stop us from pulling off a P2 podium finish!

Again, a huge thanks to all the people who helped with swapping the transmission. Without all your help we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to start the Feature.

Thanks to the sponsors who help make this happen!

2022 Ice Breaker 2nd Feature

We have to start off by saying thank you to the track staff and track crew for their continued effort to make the track race ready all day.

Saturday was a long day for everyone at Thompson Speedway thanks to Mother Nature. We were only able to get in one practice but had the fastest lap of 24.696. After several rain/hail delays, we were finally able to run our Heat race where we started P5 and finished P2. As a result of finishing P2 in the Heat, we started P7 in the Feature.

We started the Feature off on the move! By lap 6 we had made our way to P3 and started to gain on Silva #31. Lap 8 we started battling Silva #31 for P2 and by lap 10 we were able to get by Silva #31 for P2. Michalski #44, who was in P1, had about half a straight away lead over us until lap 14 when we closed the gap on Michalski #44 in turn 3 and 4. Lap 15 we were able to take over P1 from Michalski #44 where we continued to distance ourselves from Michalski #44 for the next 5 laps, leading us to the double checkered flag!!!!!

We can now join the ranks of the many Feature Winners at Thompson Speedway - we got our first FEATURE WIN!!!!!

This all started back in July of 2020 when Don Simon gave me the opportunity to get into a race car - thank you, Don! I can now say I accomplished one of my childhood dreams of winning a race. I also join the list of Feature Winners in the Moore family, Kelly Moore and Ryan Moore.

Thank you to all the family and friends that have helped out and supported us since we started!

Thank you to the ever growing racing family that we are now part of!

Thanks to the sponsors who help make this happen!

2022 ICE BREAKER Thompson Speedway

Friday practice started off with an ignition issue. We were only able to make 4 of the 7 practices. We got the ignition issue fixed and in 6th practice we were able to turn a 24.645 lap time. We went out for the 7th practice and we turned a 24.626 for the fastest time of the day in the Mini-Stock Division. We started off the Saturday morning practice where we left off Friday afternoon. In the 1st practice we turned a 24.272 beating our fastest time on Friday. Our teams hard work over the off-season showed us some results!!!

In the Heat race we started P4 and were able to get a P2 podium finish. As a result of finishing P2 in the Heat that gave us a P4 starting position in the feature.

We started off the Feature fighting to hold on to P4 and dropped back to P5. A caution came out on lap 15 and we were able to regroup and restarted in P4. During the restart we missed a shift that caused us to fall back to P6. Two laps after the missed shift we were able to get back up to P4. A second caution came out on lap 11. On the restart we were P4 and were able to make our way up to P3 going in to lap 10. On lap 7 we were able to make our way to the rear bumper of Canfield in the #25 who was P2. We ended up racing Canfield door to door for several laps until we drove it too deep into turn 3 and got loose before the white flag. We were able to hold on to the P3 podium finish!!! It was an honor to race door to door with the veteran Charles Canfield!

We have been working so hard to get the car dialed in, but were still struggling in practice. An adjustment was made which helped for the heat race where we finished P4. After the heat race we made a chassis adjustment in hopes to be better for the feature. Started P8 in the feature and we were able to pull off a P3 for a podium finish! Huge thank you to Rick “Doc” for coming through on the chassis adjustment.

Thanks to Mark and Don for wrenching all day on the car, and of course thank you to everyone else that makes this all possible!
