Our hearts are full of gratitude after this year's Dogspeed. A huge thank you to Jon Bloodworth, whose vision and dedication helped make Dogspeed 2026 such a success. Your passion for both our community and the animals who depend on us is truly inspiring. Thank you to Kaizen Running Club and all the volunteers for pouring your time, energy, and hard work into organizing such a meaningful event. What started as Jon's birthday run became something much bigger—a celebration of compassion, community, and giving back. To the Tahlequah community: thank you for showing up in an incredible way. Whether you ran, walked, volunteered, donated, cheered participants on, or brought supplies, you made a real difference. Because of your generosity, they were able to collect much-needed dog and cat food donations, treats, toys, blankets, cleaning supplies, and funds for the Humane Society of Cherokee County. Every dollar raised and every bag of food donated will help provide care, comfort, and hope to animals waiting for loving homes. That impact is only possible because of people like you who care deeply and give generously. We are thankful for everyone who helped make Jon's Dogspeed 2026 a success. Seeing our community come together for a cause like this is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people unite to help those who cannot speak for themselves.
