Northeastern State University Football will renew its historic in-state series with Langston this fall in the inaugural Oklahoma Gridiron Classic.

TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State announced Friday that its football program will renew its in-state series with Langston this fall as the two teams meet in the inaugural Oklahoma Gridiron Classic on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. inside W.E. Anderson Stadium in Langston, Okla.

IT’S OFFICIAL!

Northeastern State University announced Thursday the addition of varsity rodeo, with competition slated to begin in 2027.

The program will call Tahlequah’s Rockin P Arena its home for training and competition and will be assisted by the mentorship of Ryan Dirteater, a 12-time PBR World Finals qualifier and 2016 PBR World Finals event winner.

TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State University officially added varsity rodeo to its intercollegiate athletics lineup Thursday, marking the launch of a new program that will begin competition in sanctioned events in 2027, pending approval.
